Stunning Pictures of Jellyfishes

We've been talking about the wonders of nature lately. We had a great sunset photography post this week, and today some little weid, yet beautiful creatures caught my attention: jellyfishes! These animals are absolutely stunning, and some of them are as beautiful as they might be mortal.

Life in the Cemetery (19 pics)

About 10,000 Filipino families live in the northern town cemetery in Manila.
Some of them got there by accident. Some inherited the mausoleums from their great-grandparents and now live in there. Others came from the province and are unable to earn enough money to live in a big city.
In all cases, mainly families have nowhere to go.

Calendar That Will Eat Your Brain (12 pics)

Ordinary calendars with landscapes, nature or animals are not in vogue anymore.
Creative people are always in motion and always thinking of something new.
And there you have a good example - Zombie Pinup Calendar 2010. A bit eerie of course, but very unusual ;)

A journey Along the Silk Road in Today’s China (39 pics)

Photograph Per-Anders Pettersson travelled on the Chinese part of the Silk Road. It was a 3200-kilometer journey from Xian to Kashgar that took 3 weeks by train, bus, plane, 4x4…
He did that experience to describe the life along the Silk Road in today’s China.
It’s interesting to see.

Inspiring Artworks from Razriel

Inspiring Artworks from Razriel

Angela Moore, aka Razriel on deviantART, is 22 years old talented illustrator based in Los Angeles area. She usually works with pen and ink, watercolor, pencil and photoshop, but lately she started learning oils and really want to defeat them (as her own words).

Image selected for Inspiring Artworks from Razriel

A large portion of my work ends up in the realm of weird fantasy. Some of my favorite artists are Miyazaki, Yoshitaka Amano, Kathe Kollvits, Toulouse Lautrec, Francis Bacon, Heinrich Kley and the Ninja Turtles. :) Razriel

You will see here that Razriel has some really cool and interesting artworks. We will see illustrations going from soft and delicate to dark and obscure, and in between she also has some 'sexy' drawings. I liked her style, colors use and lines, so I really recommend you to check out her deviantART profile and her website for further images, you will like it! Enjoy. :)
