Kingfishers that live near water hunt small fish by diving. Their eyes also have evolved an egg-shaped lens able to focus in air and under water while swimming. Kingfishers beat their prey to death. Amazing pictures.

clipped from izismile.com Icicles of red brick (7 pics) These are the consequences of the use of an alternative to napalm by Russsian army back then. It was done as a test inside of the brick houses. The temperature was so high that it made bricks to melt and form such icicles.
